Welcome to Foster Care Services

Foster Care Services Ltd. is an independent fostering agency, which was established in 1998.

Our offices are based near to Stockport town centre, and our carers live in areas across the North West of England and Wales - among others Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, Wigan, Rochdale, Doncaster, Warrington, Cheshire, Wrexham.

We have a very stable and committed work force. Most staff have been with the agency for at least 4-5 years. All our social workers are qualified and GSCC registered, and have many years of social work experience behind them. Of the two directors, one is an ex-foster carer and teacher, whilst the other has a background of management within both Education and Social Services departments.

Our foster carers, who are regularly supervised and receive on-going training, can access support any time of the day or night, 365 days a year. In addition, their placements are each allocated a teacher from the National Teaching & Advisory Service, who will ensure every child achieves their maximum education potential.

We believe that this integrated services provides a way forward to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people in our care. We are specifically targetting people who are interested in looking after teenagers.
